|
Dear Resident, Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage after a serious collision in Potters Bar. At around 7.15pm yesterday (Thursday 4 December), two Honda mopeds were riding south from Hatfield towards the High Street in Potters Bar. For reasons yet to be established, one of the mopeds was involved in a collision with a blue Citroen C3 on Hatfield Road, at the junction with Quakers Lane. The rider of the moped, a 17-year-old boy, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. Sergeant Duncan Hall, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing as we continue to piece together what happened. “If you witnessed the collision itself or the events leading up to it then please get in touch. Additionally, if you recorded any dash cam footage of the incident please upload this via herts.police.uk/dashcamupload.” You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting Op Bookbind. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
